Seek what sets your soul on flower.
6 of Spade is a community-focused cannabis retail chain rooted in Toronto’s cannabis culture. As born and raised Torontonians, we are honored and privileged to have built our very own family-operated licensed cannabis shoppe in our hometown-Little Portugal, Toronto, Canada. We aim to destigmatize cannabis, while also providing customers with an education-based shopping experience. One that allows consumers to make safe, intelligent purchasing decisions, based on their needs and current level of cannabis experience.
6 of Spade follows six guiding principles found in African culture to shape every aspect of our brand:
Unity
Maintaining unity as a family and community
Creativity
To find new, innovative ways to leave communities for which we conduct business in.
Purpose
Work collectively to build communities
Cooperative Economics
building and maintaining retail stores and other businesses
Faith
To believe with all our heart in our people, our parents, our teachers, our leaders and the righteousness and victory of our struggle.
Self-Determination
Defining, naming, creating, and speaking for ourselves.
In keeping with our mission to support local BIPOC, 6 of Spade has made considerable efforts to support and partner with black-owned businesses within the GTA. We’re invested in giving back to the city, demystifying cannabis, and actively participating in the community, by rooting each business decision in our “6” guiding principles.
We’re committed to positively impacting the city, and its residents, through the “6oS” social justice projects, programs, and initiatives and look forward to growing our brand starting at our flagship store located on Dundas West and Dovercourt-Trinity Bellwoods Area Toronto, Canada.
As a licensed Canadian cannabis retailer, it’s the responsibility of 6 of Spade to put our best foot forward in this relatively new and evolving regulated industry. We’re thrilled to be part of a movement that helps to dispel the negative stigma associated with cannabis, its products, and its consumers. 6 of Spade is ecstatic to be on the path to becoming Canada’s leading chain of black-owned cannabis shoppe’s. We encourage you to visit us sometime. We look forward to serving you in person and/or online soon.
We are excited to hire a team of experienced, dependable, enthusiastic, customer-service oriented individuals who operate with the principles of honesty and integrity and are passionate about cannabis and cannabis accessories. If you are an outgoing, motivated, detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused problem solver who has great communication skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment, please send us your resume and cover letter to hello@6ofspade.com for consideration.
